Sirota Yurt Camp is a beautiful and peaceful yurt camp located in the Issyk-Kul Region of Kyrgyzstan. The camp is situated in Karakol Valley at 2800 meters on the way to Ala Kul (Ala Kol) Lake, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Part of the trekkers stop here before the ascent to Ala Kul Lake, while others rest here after the descent.
The camp offers a variety of yurt accommodations, 6 Yurts with 4-5 people accommodations. All yurts are equipped with comfortable beds, warm blankets. The camp also has a kitchen that serves traditional Kyrgyz cuisine, as well as a bar that serves a variety of drinks.
The name “Sirota” means “orphan” in Russian. It is unclear why the camp is named this, but it is possible that it is because the camp is located in a remote and isolated area.
